Our Heritage
SQLSchool.gr is not going away. It remains the foundation of our community and continues to provide valuable resources, discussions, and support for SQL Server professionals.
By introducing XLYTiCA Community, we are building on this legacy to include Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Azure, Databricks, and modern data platforms.
Why I Made This Decision
For more than 15+ years, SQLSchool.gr has been the leading Greek SQL Server community, bringing together over 3,500 members and thousands of hours of educational content. This legacy is invaluable and forms the foundation for the next step.
Technology is evolving rapidly. Professionals today need more than SQL Server—they require expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Azure, Databricks, and modern Data & AI solutions. To continue delivering value, we need to create a space that covers the entire spectrum of today’s data platform.
The decision to launch XLYTiCA Community was not made to support my business venture, but to address a fundamental need: SQLSchool.gr had no legal entity, which made it difficult to organize events and activities that require official structure. With XLYTiCA Community, we gain the ability to host events, workshops, and collaborations with transparency and professionalism.
This decision does not mean SQLSchool.gr will disappear. On the contrary, it remains the heart of the community and becomes part of a larger ecosystem that offers:
- More content on emerging technologies
- Events and networking for Data & AI professionals
- Training and workshops with modern tools
- Bilingual approach (Greek & English) for global reach
This transition will happen gradually and with respect for the community. SQLSchool.gr will continue to operate while we build XLYTiCA Community as the next hub for knowledge and collaboration.
My goal is to increase the value for members, provide more opportunities, and ensure that the community we built together remains strong and relevant for years to come.
The community is our strength. I truly appreciate your trust over the years and look forward to building the future together.
